It is important that Great Falls College students have foundational skills in math and writing in order to succeed in all other courses. Your readiness for writing and math is important because it helps ensure placement into appropriate courses.

Writing Readiness

We encourage you to send proof of writing readiness so we have the most information for advising prior to course registration.

* If you do not provide proof of writing readiness, you may be eligible for a self-directed writing survey. You will discuss this with your academic advisor at your first appointment and before registering for classes.

Math Readiness

We require you to send proof of math readiness in order to complete your admissions file and move to advising and registration.
