Returning Students

Returning Great Falls College MSU students who have missed one or more semesters will need to submit a free application for re-admission. We are glad you want to continue your education with us, welcome back!

Admission Checklist

Readmitted students will have to furnish all required admissions materials if they have not already done so. Admissions documents are kept for only 5 years from the last year attended. Students applying for re-admission 5 years or more from last date of attendance will need to provide the required admissions documents below:

    • Complete a Readmit Form FOUND HERE
      If you are reapplying 5 years or more from your last date of attendance, you will need to furnish all required admissions materials, including:
    • Provide proof of high school completion by submitting a high school transcript, high school diploma, GED or HiSET certificate or transcript, or an official college transcript.
      • For more information, read catalog section 2.A.
      • Attended other colleges and earned credits since you last applied to GFC? You can check transferability of credits here but if you want those credits to be evaluated for use at GFC MSU, you need to provide official transcripts.
    • Provide record of two MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccinations.
    •  Provide placement scores for math (required) and writing (encouraged) through ACT/SAT/Accuplacer/GED/HiSET. Successful completion (grade of C or better) of writing/math courses at GFCMSU within the last 15 years will be on file and can be used for this requirement.

Next Steps

Once you have you completed the admission requirements, you will get regular communications from us to complete a short online orientation, including a series of videos and a quiz. After completion, we will be able to schedule your advising appointment for registration.
