Welcome to Great Falls College MSU

Congratulations and welcome to Great Falls College MSU! We are proud to help every student find their purpose, plan, and path. By becoming a student here, you are moving your life and career forward.

Whether you start with GFC MSU as a high school student earning dual credit, a recent high school graduate, a first-generation college student, a person with some college credits, or with work or military experience, our goal is to provide you the tools you need to succeed in the classroom and your future.

GFC MSU offers free tutoring through the Academic Success Center, a full time Advising and Career Center, a Veterans Success Center, a Native American Enrichment Center, and a student-run food pantry available to all students. Bright Beginnings is our on-campus early learning center offering nationally recognized and educational based childcare. With numerous scholarships available, college is affordable and there are scholarships to help with childcare.

Combine low tuition with great scholarship opportunities and affording college becomes a reality. With small class sizes, you get to know your teacher, classmates, and really learn the course content. When you earn your certificate or degree from Great Falls College MSU, it opens doors to a new career or further education.

Great Falls College MSU offers 15 healthcare programs, and with the only fully simulated hospital in the state, you are able to gain valuable hands-on experience before you ever see a real patient. If technology is intriguing, the college offers a range of programming, coding, and networking courses.

The college partners with MSU Bozeman in a 1+3 engineering programming. You can take your first year of courses at Great Falls, saving you money. Start your music degree here, earn your transfer AA or AS degree, or learn the skills and trade of welding and fabrication, or become an industrial technician.

As a local business owner or manager, the Lifelong Long Learning Division of the college provides customized training and apprenticeship opportunities upskill and train your employees. At a more personal level, a diverse menu of non-credit opportunities is offered each semester.

Starting fall semester 2018, Great Falls College MSU is implementing the 8-Week Advantage for all General Studies courses, offered in 8-week blocks. This schedule gives you the ability to focus on fewer courses at once, have more hands-on experiences and research opportunities in the classroom, save time and money, leading to faster completion and less student debt. Full implementation of the 8-week block schedule begins fall semester 2019.
