Definitely! We now have a form on our website that allows you to share your ideas with us. We are happy to partner with you, advertise your session, and help in any way.

You will want to contact the Teaching and Learning Center staff to discuss the conference or training. We typically need to have some proof of attendance, the name of the training/conference, the location of the training/conference, and some of the objectives of the training/conference. If you are wondering about a training you are thinking of signing up for, we are happy to take a look for you.

We use the survey as a way to track attendance and import it into our database. This allows us to easily administer OPI renewal unit certificates and to add to your list of attended trainings. This is also “proof” of participation in recorded workshops.
Offering our workshops and classes to the public is a long-term goal. As we grow, that may be an option.

No. Tuition waivers are only available for courses that are a part of a “program”, not for one-off courses. However, your course still counts for Tenure and Promotion purposes as a graduate level course.
