Loan Entrance Counseling
All first time loan borrowers at this campus are required to complete Loan Entrance Counseling. A student's rights and responsibilities as a borrower are discussed. No loan proceeds can be paid to a student's account until entrance counseling is completed.
New students will complete Loan Entrance Counseling during Orientation (Essential Start). If you are unable to attend an Essential Start session email the Financial Aid Office for instructions at firstname.lastname@example.org
Loan Exit Counseling
Federal Regulations require any student who receives a Federal Student Loan to attend an Exit Counseling Session upon completion of their program. Great Falls College MSU invites you to attend one of our annual Exit Counseling Sessions. During this session you will learn about the following information:
- Consolidating your Federal Student Loans
- Repayment Options
If you have ever taken student loans, attended classes with Great Falls College MSU campus and are discontinuing your enrollment, please complete Loan Exit Counseling at www.studentloans.ed.gov. Log in using your FSA ID; select “Counseling”, then complete “Loan Exit Counseling”. The school will be notified electronically when Exit Counseling is completed.
