Division of Health Sciences
Welcome to the Division of Health Sciences at Great Falls College MSU. The Division of Health Sciences includes faculty and staff supporting 11 health programs as well as the Biology department. GFC MSU is a great place to earn your certificate or degree in nursing or an allied health field. We offer excellent educational options with the additional benefits of affordable tuition, smaller class sizes, state-of-the-art facilities, and faculty who are experts in their disciplines.
Great Falls College MSU is well known in the community and across the state for its high quality programs. Graduates of our health programs are in high demand with many finding employment immediately upon program completion. Additionally, graduates routinely experience high rates of success on certification examinations.
Great Falls College MSU is proud to be home to the only Simulation Hospital in the state of Montana for a state funded college. Students in a variety of programs including Nursing, Respiratory Care, Surgical Technology, EMT and Paramedic train on high-fidelity mannequins and equipment in a real-world environment to gain work-ready skills. Students express their appreciation for being able to gain hands-on experience in low-risk yet realistic settings such as the operating suite, the back of an ambulance, or the intensive care unit (ICU).
The Dental Clinic here on campus is open to the general public, and serves as the primary clinical site for our Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting students. Starting the summer of 2020 the Dental Clinic will be expanding with a brand new clinic that is scheduled to open by the fall of 2021. This new and expanded clinic will allow the Dental Hygiene Program to accept up to 25 new students per year. The Dental Hygiene degree program is the only one in the entire state. Students in both dental programs learn radiology techniques and applications in an entirely digital environment.
